Nothing special about it, it wasn’t a ‘significant’ birthday, not a 40th. 8230; it was my 72nd. The day was a nice day… part sunny and warm with a cloud covering, so a nice day for a birthday. It was a Friday. The ‘ present. 8217; (no I don’t usually like presents unless they are red and come in a bottle ;-) was a trip to London, not somewhere I’d normally go on my birthday but then it was my ‘ present. 8217; so I agreed. I was going to the London Eye! Seems most everyone else I know has been, not I?

A cruise to Norway (a Saga! Thursday, September 4, 2008. OK we're ready as can be! I've packed and repacked my suitcase 3 times, each time leaving something else out .but it still seems too much . Problems, problems. what does one take, cold and/or hot weather clothes? How many shoes, laptop (YES! Well that's it, no more, we'll just have to hope we've covered every eventuality. Mum finished hers yesterday! We're due to be picked up at 12:15 tomorrow(MPV) and then Saga Ruby here we come! DOVER - 21 Aug'08.
