Fish of the Great Lakes | Gastronomy of America
https://johnpaulstevenson.wordpress.com/2007/08/13/fish-of-the-great-lakes
Food History and Culture. Fish of the Great Lakes. August 13, 2007. I grew up on these fish. Ever winter through the ice we would plunder the local lakes and stock up the freezer, having a fish fry every other night. In between nights of braised squirrel or rabbit, but those are other stories in and of themselves. To me there was no other fish to eat. What the hell was tuna? I had a hard time believing it was a fish at all, how could a fish come from a can? And look like that? August 14, 2007 at 9:08 am.

Rata-what? | Half magick, half pasta
https://findcandice.wordpress.com/2007/07/05/rata-what
Half magick, half pasta. Life is half magic, and half pasta -Federico Fellini. So… it’s been a while. And yet is it surprising that the only thing to bring me out of my self-instituted silence (based on a flurry of graduation requirements I had to fulfill, which thankfully I did) is a film about a rat that is a foodie? My name, which people tend to misspell, belong musically only to Bow Wow Wow and Iggy Pop/Kate Pierson, and even then, only in its shortened form. But anyway, RATATOUILLE! And he talked ab...

Culture, Environment, and Sustainable Communities Blog. Figs for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. August 28, 2007 in food. I first tried figs this summer when volunteering at our community garden. I enjoyed picking the fruit in the community garden’s large fig grove. The canopy the large trees left me under felt magical and what an adventure it was to search and high and low for figs. A sauce made of ricotta cheese and honey. Again, heaven. As part of dinner last night Jon and I whipped together a fig salad&...

Chalice Paul Missing since 1981
My name was Chalice Paul, I was born as Chalice Alford. I was born on August 31, 1947 and I was 33 years old when I went missing in the summer of 1981 and presumed to be dead. I married my first husband Donald and became Chalice Barnett back in the mid 1960's. I became Chalice Paul by marrying my second husband, John Paul Sr., the infamous race car driver of the late 1970's and early 1980's and whom I was presumed to be last seen with before my disappearance in the Florida Keys.
