The centre set in nearly sn acre of private gardens, provides an 'oasis of calm' from the pressures of everyday life and an ideal place to teach and study the arts.

In 1961 John and Daphne Poole moved to Bunns Leys, Bishampton and converted a rundown farmhouse and orchard into their family home and artists studio. For the next 40 plus years John and Daphne inspired by their surroundings used their creative talents in sculpture and jewellery design to the full. John created many significant public works of art including 2 Otto Beit award winning sculptures.
