Winter jasmine (jasminium nudiflorum) is covered in these small yellow flowers for most of the winter. This plant does not cling naturally and must therefore be tied onto a support such as this trellace. Back to home page.

Christmas Cacti (Schlumbergera) in the upper picture and a selection of Cyclamen and Primulas (lower picture) in flower in the greenhouse in mid winter. All these plants have a long flowering season in the greenhouse which is kept at a minimum of 4 degrees C. They have a shorter season when kept in a warm room inside the house. I plant the Primulas outside in the garden when they have finished flowering as it is not worth trying to keep them in pots for next year. It is easier to buy new plants for t...

Asarina - A climbing plant with snapdragon like flowers. Morning Glory (Ipomoea) - My favorite climber. Sweet peas - Always good for cut flowers for the house. Stipa Tenuissima and Anemanthele lessoniana- Perennial grasses. Eccremocarpus (Chilean glory vine) - Very bright flowers and easy to grow climber. Afro/french marigold - These hybrid varieties give very good performance. Pentstemon Tubular Bells Rose - I usually treat these seed raised pentstemons as annuals. Back to home page.

Here, you can go fishing, hiking, paddling og cross country skiing in the nice and easy mountain areas. Johnsgård is a family business, started in the late 60 s. And that are now run by Jonas Johngård and his wife Monica Bye Spånberg. They are third generation at Johnsgård Turistsenter. Read more about us here. You can stay in cabin, camper, caravan or tent.
