Treasure Seekers Children's Church. Information about Children's Church at JM. Friday, February 17, 2006. Schedule Needs Updated ( important. I'm getting a little nervous. We only have people scheduled to cover children church through March 19 (except for a couple of other people here and there in the schedule. Please take a moment to go to http:/ jmchildren.blogspot.com/. What is your opinion? Is Easter the perfect time to have the kids in church (and thus we should not have Children's Church that day)?

Advent Devotional: Devotional 12-24-14
http://jmadvent.blogspot.com/2014/12/devotional-12-24-14.html
Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Isaiah 9:2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness on them light has shined. Have you ever heard the expression “the darkest hour is just before the dawn”? In our own lives, we tend to avoid darkness. When the electricity goes out, we look for flashlights and candles. Darkness deprives us of one of our most prominent senses, the ability to see what is around us. But light ...

Advent Devotional: Devotional 12-15-14
http://jmadvent.blogspot.com/2014/12/devotional-12-15-14.html
Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. Monday, December 15, 2014. Please read Luke 1, vs. 26-38. What a wonderful acceptance Mary has. I hope that I would be eager to obey something that would change my life this much. I’m afraid I would not. I would have all kinds of excuses for why I couldn’t do what I was supposed to do. I’d be too tired, too busy, too old, too ,too, too. This Advent Season let us remember to. When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,. What a glory He sheds on our way!

Advent Devotional: Devotional 12-8-14
http://jmadvent.blogspot.com/2014/12/devotional-12-8-14.html
Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. Monday, December 08, 2014. A Checklist, Prayer, and Promise. Lists are big deals this time of year. I am finding the older I get the more a list helps me. The value of a number 2 Ticonderoga and a scratch pad is a thousand times more valuable than my diminishing memory capacity. Running out of “gigs” quickly. In this scripture for today we find a very helpful list of things it might be helpful to do every day. Give thanks in every situation. Merry Christmas to all.

Johnson Memorial in Prayer: Cross of Nails
http://jmprayer.blogspot.com/2006/02/cross-of-nails.html
Johnson Memorial in Prayer. Sunday, February 19, 2006. What you will need:. A 2 masonry nail, a 2 1/2 masonry nail, and thin wire. All parts are supplied in kit. You may have extra wire. Wire the two nails together to form a cross. Steve says that he forms a loop on the end of the wire to attach it to one nail and then starts wrapping it. The wire forms an X at the junction of the two nails. Please make sure there are no sharp wirey points that might pierce thin skin. Yes, I know that’s ironic.
