I was standing in the laundry room of my parents’ house with my mom just a week or so after dad had been brought home by ambulance for in home hospice care. Last Friday, I was getting his breakfast ready, so i put him in his exersaucer for a bit. He saw me getting his food together and started jumping up and down and saying something like "ma-ma-ma-ma-ma"! And then he looked at Leyton and started saying "Da-da? Which Leyton has been doing. Thornton, Madelyn, Leyton and Tootsie. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Well, I am happy (and sad) to say that Leyton is rolling over! I was at work on Tuesday when Thornton called me and told me that Leyton rolled onto his stomach for the first time. He has been rolling from his back to his side for a few weeks now, but he went on over on Tuesday! It is just amazing to me that he is getting so strong at just a little over 3 months old. With the scare we had with Jason, and then getting the good news that he had an infection and not a brain tumor (we got the good news the night before Thanksgiving), made for a very thankful day! We had Thanksgiving lunch at my cousin Chris's house this year. We had so much good food! And Leyton had a great time! Playing on the pool table. Likes it so much better!

Thornton, Madelyn, Leyton and Tootsie. Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Business in the front, Party in the back. Okay, so Leyton got his first haircut in December! So, off to see Mrs. Judy we went. It only took like 3 or 4 snips, but he did so good and sat so still! And yes, I kept his hair from his first haircut! He was playing with this toy in the waiting. Area, and fell asleep! So hard he woke up! It was so cute! Sitting on Mrs. Judy's counter. He played with hair clips the whole time. Digging into his gifts.
