John Stanney is one of four Lincolnshire artists who make up "Mixed Palettes". John started painting in 2008, becoming interested when wife Katie began using pastels. He loves using pastels, finds painting very relaxing after a busy day, and can't wait to retire so he can spend more time painting. He joined the Spalding Arts and Crafts Society. In 2009, and has exhibited in the Geest Gallery, Ayscoughfee Hall, Spalding, and the Lincolnshire Gallery, Swan Street, Spalding. Other mediums will be added soon.

This website is a showcase for four Lincolnshire artists, Jan Bee, Mary Brice, John Stanney and Katie Stanney, who together form the "Mixed Palettes" art group. They are all members of Spalding Arts and Crafts Society. And all exhibit and sell their paintings locally, although a few have gone further afield!
