The Adventures of Pete Big Bear. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. I run for Boston. As I wait for the bus home I see the Flag outside of the National Cathedral flying at half mast out of respect. The somber beauty of working on the campus of such a beautiful church. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow Pete as he hunts and gathers. View my complete profile. Who is Pete BigBear. China Trip: Summer 2008. Saturday, August 23, 2008. Nashville Dragon Boat Festival. The opening ceremony was a CHINESE LION DANCE. CHINESE ARTS ALLIANCE OF NASHVILLE. It was a mix of adults and children who have learned to perform the LION DANCE. It was very nice to see this performed down by the Cumberland River under the the shadow of the Titans stadium, and the Shelby Street Bridge. Is celebrated all over the world and not necessarily together with the Double Fifth Day observance. Rock Garden in Wuzhen.

China Trip: Summer 2008. Sunday, August 31, 2008. I submitted a photograph from the trip to China, to a contest that the Tennessean newspaper was running, and it was selected (out of around 1200 photos I believe) as one of the top 20 finalists! That's pretty exciting. It's nothing huge, just a local contest, but my first one I've been in since I started fooling around with photography. The winner wins like $100 or something. I'm just pumped one of my photographs made it to the Top 20. =). Is one of the m...

China Trip: Summer 2008: "Lost Photos"
http://paulinchina2008.blogspot.com/2008/09/lost-photos.html
China Trip: Summer 2008. Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Ok, so I'm pretty excited! I lost (deleted) some of my photos from the very first days of the trip to China! I guess when I was cleaning up my laptop on the trip, they were deleted accidently! Anyway, I kept looking for them, and could never find them on my computer with the other photographs! It was very disappointing! There were also photographs of the 400 year old TEA HOUSE that are part of this set. Click the picture to go to the page).

The Adventures of Pete Big Bear. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Pub Quiz, Über, and Manila traffic. Makati is a part of Manila that is located adjacent to Bonifacio where Paytons place is located. Maybe about 10-13 km away. That is a 45 minute ride in rush hour my friends. To say that Manilas has a traffic issue is a massive understatement. How to get around you ask? Btw, the two person team of Payton and I took on teams of 6-10 people and help our own. Favorite category, Google Doodles. They showed ...After...
