Friday, November 4, 2011. I know it is still a little early to be getting ready for Christmas but it is only a few weeks away. Given that I actively dislike being anywhere near the mall during December, I really like to have things done well ahead of time. I generally start my Christmas planning on or about Boxing Day. I admit this is sick and twisted and there is probably medication out there somewhere to address this concern. And we are done.except for the taste test. Small lemon, juiced and grated rind.

Monday, October 10, 2011. Turnip and Maple Puree Soup. Thanksgiving for 2011 is now over and I was privileged to have friends and family share dinner with Geoff and me yesterday. The weather was beautiful, although I could have done with the temperatures at a slightly lower degree. The company was wonderful. The menu was Turnip and Maple Puree Soup, Brined Turkey, Tofurky (many thanks to Melissa) Carrots with Onions and Lemon Pepper, Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes. It was a crazy time.

Bloggse är ny, fattade typ ingenting när jag gick in först haha. Men aja, har bussluffat en stund med lavin idag på kvällen, innan det var det skola as usual.
