Jenkins - living4Him: August 2008
http://jenkins-living4him.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 5, 2008. We have been wanting to paint Joshua's room for several years. He couldn't decide a color or theme. When we decided to homeschool, he wanted to make his room the school room and paint it blue and green and decorate for school. I posted pictures of our painting project and a before and after shot. Poppy came and helped finish up but I didn't get his picture. First day of homeschool August 4th. It is the picture with the gum showing in his mouth.obviously! New pictures to post.

Jenkins - living4Him: September 2009
http://jenkins-living4him.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 4, 2009. I haven't updated blog in a while. Facebook has taken much of my extra time. Jacob started college and moved into a dorm on campus. He has only called me once or twice. I am still adjusting. It isn't quite so hard knowing he isn't that far from home. I keep reminding myself that even though he isn't home under our protection, he is still under God's protection and God loves him more than I possibly could. The more I pray, the more peace I have. I am pretty much recovered from m...

The Wildcats are only 2 games away from State championship! The SSHS jazz band and our Kids Central Kids choir performed at the Lights of Life at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. I didn't get any pictures of the kids singing because it was too dark. Chasity and Allie weren't sure about "Santa Claus"! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, January 2, 2012. He Goes Before Us! I really do not want to make a bunch of resolutions to start 2012 because I know I never keep them and to add to it, I don't even remember what the resolutions were much after making them! However, yesterday I spent a considerable amount of time in church and listening to some really good messages on television. Now, one day later, I am reflecting on the two things that stand out to me from all that I listened to yesterday:. These are not new truths to me but b...

Tuesday, January 3, 2012. It probably comes with age- - thinking about what I will be remembered for on this earth. Will my contributions to family, friends and community live on.will this world be a better place for the decades that I occupied this earthly vessel? I guess if the truth be known, all of us would like to think that we have made a lasting impact and will be thought of fondly at the end of life. However, isn't it just amazing how much God can show and teach us through acquaintances? So littl...

Notes from Nancy: Relationships
http://notesfromnancya.blogspot.com/2009/01/relationships.html
Thursday, January 8, 2009. God first created Adam and saw that he was incomplete and so God created Eve. Together they enjoyed both relationship with one another and with God. Now, centuries later, we still need to be in relationship with others and, more importantly, with our Creator! Whether I am with my best girlfriends or in the counseling room I have a responsibility to honor God and in so doing I will honor my friends and add value to their lives. We will be equally blessed. Who Can You Trust?
