Wednesday, 15 February 2012. This is a painting of my friend Jammie, she is a muslim and an incredibly beautiful person not only in character but also visually. I was interested to paint her from her wedding photographs because Jammie had an arranged wedding in Bangladesh and we her friends were very worried about her, because we had no idea that she would be married.
