Jol On Tour - the web log. Tuesday, September 21, 2004. Wednesday it started to get grey and windy. There was a 2 pm curfew imposed by the Mayor, to discourage looting. We went out for a stroll, largely ignored by police cars until an unmarked car eventually persuaded us to return home. Checked into a small but special backpackers hostel which boasted hot spa outside and apple crumble with ice cream at 8 pm Everyone was super friendly, the sun shone and there were some lovely walks along the bluffs overlooking the sounds.
