Growing (in more ways then one) through the gift of adoption. Its been so cold here in Chicagoland. Schools were cancelled yesterday and today. Giving us a long, long weekend! We made a big meal for our brother’s sleepover friends…. Took some of the children to Feed My Starving Children on one of our snow days. These three kept our group in near constant laughter. They loved it. We are crazy about you! It looks like there are several Chinese kids with Thalassemia needing homes, families, healthcare.

Praying its a refreshing time, a bonding time, relaxing (time away from some annoying siblings). Luke told me, “mom, i feel bad that you have to be the only parent this week, i will help you! Of our precious girl.Another family who adopted a year ago and traveled to where Harley is,took these pictures.She guesses Harley to be the size of a 4 year old. All this hard work.piles of paperwork,endless signatures and notaries,done.our Dossier was sent to China! Here is what is left.our waiting isn't over yet. LIDLogged In Date (China logs in your paperwork).about 2 weeks out. LOA(Letter of acceptance).about 60 days. 1800 approval.3 weeks. Article 5.4 weeks. TA ( TRAVEL APPOINTMENT. We just cleared #7.
