Saturday 17th September 2011 -. Married for 1806 days. Our Humanist Ceremony will be in the Library at Drum Castle. Drum Castle was home to the Irvine family* for more than six and a half centuries, a full twenty-four generations of nearly unbroken succession. The Library is in the Jacobean part of the Castle and, along with 12ft thick granite walls, provides an intimate space for us all to gather. No relation to Kat's Dad, Irvine, but we wouldn't mind if he bought us a Castle! Drumoak, by Banchory.

Saturday 17th September 2011 -. Married for 1806 days. For your convenience we have booked a bus from Tor-Na-Coille Hotel, Banchory, to Drum Castle and back again after the Ceremony. The bus leaves Tor-Na-Coille for Drum at 1315hrs. There's a drink reception at Drum so we would encourage everyone to enjoy themselves and leave the car at home. Should you need to travel independently the Hotel and Drum are only 15-20mins away in a taxi (at breakneck speed). Drum Castle (Drum Castle). Hotel: The Stag Hotel.
