Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Jon and I decided it was time to get Isaac out of diapers. He seemed to be interested in it which we were obviously hoping for before the baby comes! Nobody wants two kids in diapers right? The first decision we had to make was do we buy a little potty or a cushion for the toilet. This was pretty easy because neither one of us liked to idea of cleaning the little toilet! After a couple days of potty training I can say if you're going to buy a cushion make sure you get a good one!

Saturday, June 11, 2011. I thought it was going to be really expensive, but it wasn't! Then we headed over to Gateway to see Pirates 4. We picked up Isaac and drove back up to the cabin. Sunday, August 7, 2011. Trip to the Zoo! We thought this year would be a great year to take Isaac to the zoo. We had a great time and Isaac loved seeing the animals up close instead of in his books! Jon had never been to the zoo either so it was fun for him to experience it, too. I had to take the picture of the gorilla because he just looked funny laying there completely still for atleast 5 or 10 minutes. I'm sorry there isn't much to say, but that's why I got pictures! Tuesday, May 24, 2011. As all other journals I have attempted to keep, I have failed to update regularly so.here's just a quick update on potty training! We're now into the second week and doing really well! The book "Potty Training in a Day" tells you to keep the child bare bottomed for 3 months! I just don't agree with that. I can agree with letting them run around naked helps them not have accidents, but I definitely don't see that happening for 3 months. So this will have to do.
