Saturday, July 30, 2011. Well I have been horrible at updating this blog this summer. But this deserved a quick post! I got the best news of my life in Wednesday! I am actually going to have a classroom OF MY OWN this year! I could not be happier! I will be teaching 2nd grade at Bauer Elementary in Hudsonville! It doesn't get any better! This is truly my dream job! I LOVE Hudsonville's school system and I LOVE LOVE LOVE 2nd grade! Can't wait to update about my experience this year! Thank You, Ladies :).

Saturday, March 5, 2011. This Made Me Laugh Today! Friday, March 4, 2011. Today was a very fun day at school! Exhausting. but fun! It was the annual "read n feed." Students were allowed to bring sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, 3 favorite books from home and of course. wear their pj's! 2nd grade spent the entire day reading! I decided to be " Nice. Mrs Scholma" today ;) and let them move the desks to the sides and spread out all over the room, WHEREVER THEY WANTED! The kids had a blast!

Cricut cut out letters and all. Love the tree and lanterns. Looks very organized. You should be proud of that space, looks like you put a lot of thought into it! The weekend before I had gone to the temple alone and felt so close to this sweet baby and so excited to meet him. Having the temple to look at during the labor reminded me of why I was doing all of this. That is hard to do with pain but it was what I needed to hear to get the baby out.
