We left Swans Island yesterday (Sunday) in the fog and drove in mist, rain and cloudy skies all the way to Lake Placid, NY. Jon and Barb on the Run! What are we up to now? Memorial Day Weekend Activities. May 30, 2016. May 30, 2016. The Blue Rock Trail is one of our favorites on the island. Previously, we hiked it with Shelby and then again with Mom, Ted and Shelby, but didn’t know we only “scratched the beginning” of it! Nathan and Kelli found out it was a lot longer hike and went down to the coastline through many habitats. So we did it twice with Mom last fall and this time we took Molly with us! The history is interesting.

Jon and Barb on the Run! What are we up to now? On the Run Again! September 13, 2016. We are headed back to Maine! We left yesterday and drove northeast to Shreaveport, LA and then took I20 thru Mississippi to Birmingham, AL where we spent the night. Today we are headed up I59 to Chatanooga and then up the Shenandoah Valley to Harrisonburg, VA – tonight’s stop. We will head north to Rochester, NY to a place we like on the Erie Canal, then a night in Lake Placid and then into Maine. We Are Almost to Maine!

The weekend before I had gone to the temple alone and felt so close to this sweet baby and so excited to meet him. Having the temple to look at during the labor reminded me of why I was doing all of this. That is hard to do with pain but it was what I needed to hear to get the baby out. After Lincoln was born Dr. Watabe said, "That's the way to have a baby! Sunday, March 10, 2013. The end is in sight.

Jon and Barb on the Run! What are we up to now? At Robin House…Kitchen Renovation started today! September 18, 2016. We drove from Boothbay Harbor up Route 1 (coastal highway) that we haven’t done in a few trips. We did a small grocery shopping and Home Depot trip:. It was great to get in line for the ferry and we got out of our car and went up on deck to see the ocean and views. Great to be back and had happy hour on Allagash Rock then visted with our neighbors Jil and Randy. This is how we started.
