Nothing Routine About It. Sunday, January 25, 2009. What day is it? I am here again with dad today. LaWonna. Is on her way in. Mom stayed at the hospital. Last night and didn't sleep a wink. Apparently, dad didn't either. It seems that the combination of pain meds. The doctors seem positive about the progression of dad's antibiotic treatment. Nothing Routine About It. Monday, January 26, 2009. A gurgle, a giggle, and maybe a ginger ale. Today seems like a turning point in some way. The last 24 hours have been intense and we are all feeling a little more at peace for the moment. The nurse noted a gurgle in dad's belly this morning which indicates that some function may be resuming.
