New Apartment | Jon and Meredith

Beginning our life together! To get ready for life together, an apartment was rented in Forest, not far from where Meredith lives now and down the street from Jon’s apartment. It’s also not far from church, and fairly close to Liberty U. After the couches and Jon’s Lazy-Boy recliner were delivered and the kitchen table set up, the next job was to install bookshelves, put up the Christmas tree and hang stockings on the mantle. Thursday, February 27, 2014. This is several months worth of goodies. In November, this crazy little guy turned 7. We went bowling. Does everyone else's kids beg to go bowling, but once we are actually there, they don't seem that into it? For Thanksgiving we went up north to spend the holiday with the hubby's family. It was good times watching the two little toddlers sort of interact together. She was pretty good at letting Ty have at her toys. CHRISTMAS. MY FAVORITE STRESSFULL/FUN TIME OF THE YEAR.

Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Delayed post.Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Shelly (Jonathan's sister) came with us to visit our friend Jazzy in Nicaragua. We went to Lake Nicaragua and stayed on the beautiful island, Ometepe. Side note: Lake Nicaragua is known for its freshwater sharks. eek! The ride there was an adventure on this so called "ferry". It looked like something made in a junkyard. Notice how I am holding on for dear life. The snake that joined us. We went on a beautiful hike up the Maderas volcano.
