Sunday, August 31, 2008. The Art of Eating Maryland Crabs. First off, reach into the pile of boiling hot crabs that were steamed in Old Bay seasoning, and select one by size that suits your appetite. Flip the crab over to expose its belly. This is a male crab which is indicated by the spear-shaped structure called an "apron." That is the thingy in the middle. A yummy finger tip of mustard. With its lungs removed you can now suck from its meridian all the gooey goodness of more mustard! The middle segment...

Sunday, June 8, 2008. To The Beach We Go-. This Saturday morning I sleepily looked out the front door window and to my surprise saw that we were socked in with a heavy fog. The air conditioner kept our townhouse unrealistically cool, and so without thinking as to the season I slipped into my sweatpants and “ hoodie. Point which is east of New Haven, Connecticut. A closed down, actual, diner car and erstwhile restaurant in New Brunswick, New Jersey. So along the coast, that is, it ain't so what I saw!

Pray tell, do they come in jalapeño? 8221; The pharmacist looked up and chuckled. The tall man seeing an opportunity to do some investigative reporting, pressed the pharmacist further, “Do you stay up late at night pondering what ‘flavor’ your customers might want to wear? The tall man’s indirect attention wa...

Monday, August 17, 2009. Sunrise Over the North Atlantic. Not being from this coastal region I must say that the seamless sheet of rain that fell on our way to and through Maine was a little daunting, and had it not been for an hour’s respite of “rainlessness,” our camping experience would have started off disparagingly wet. As the rains began to pummel our camp again, I turned to my wife and said, “How would you like to be on the Appalachian Trail right now? THE RAINS CAME AND THE RAINS SKEDDADLED.

For reasons yet undetermined, this mammoth of a woman chose to bend over directly in front of me, and to my unreserved astonishment I watched her swimsuit retreat into Never Neverland. I became increasingly alarmed as the fabric reached a maximum pitch that sounded like the wrenching tweak of a violin string. TWANG! Our cozy little ...

Saturday, October 4, 2008. The Work of Frank Frazetta-. A Translation of Fantasy. I first came in contact with Frank Frazetta's work back in the 1950's and early '60's when he cartooned for Al Capp's, Lil' Abner. Of all the Sunday funnies that I admired as a child, his work is foremost in my memory. Who could forget the queer menagerie of characters that called Dogpatch home? His male audience (for the most part) looks upon his women as desirable; whereas women (some women), find them to be unrealistic, ...
