This weekend we took a trip out to PEHUCCI, a children’s home and school for children in preschool to grade 12, The home houses around 200 children and the school teaches around 800: 500 from the primary level and 300 from the secondary level. Don't shoot the messenger. A day in the life of somebody…. October 13, 2011. Last Thursday was a national Turkish holiday so I had the day off from teaching. Seeing as I don’t have as many days left as when I started, I decided to venture out to the other side of Istanbul for a short while. I visited the Chora church. Inside the Chora Church.
