I grew up in a middle class family up and down the east coast. My father was a social worker and mother a teacher. I received my B.A. from Emory University and traveled widely in my youth. I worked at many jobs. Some were fascinating. Some were boring. But each was memorable. I have been writing, and been a writer, my whole life. My work includes fiction, poetry, comedy, and a memoir. My interests include reading, photography, video and performance art, canoeing, tennis, travel, cooking, and gardening.
