However, here it is now, the final instalment, dealing with transferring the emulsion to a new backing. Last time we visited this topic. Jonathan St. Cloud. Astute observations and musings. On April 12, 2011, in Sailing. With the freshening breeze, our speed increased to seven knots. Holding a course of due south and using dead reckoning, coupled with an occasional sighting of land, we sailed the eleven nautical miles between San Juan island and out into the strait. With the righteousness of Vikings having run unscathed successfully navigated the narrow passage, the open water of the strait would be an easy sail. Could it be the compass?
