Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Always remember that the crowd is always watching you. So do not mess up or you won't get the trophy. So then, Riley kicks the ball off by throwing it very lightly so I can catch it. Then I start to run. The first thing you should know is to dodge the other players. That's what will happen if you do not dodge the players. You get tackled. So you do not get injured. Next play you throw the ball to the other player and hope that he catches it and you can block the other person.

Saturday, November 8, 2008. Me Shooting My Dad's BB Gun. A BB gun it is a hit. Sometimes it's a bullseye. It is fun. There is something that helps me aim. It is little. I never shoot somebody in my family. I am setting the cans up. I am setting the cans up because I shot them down. I like stacking them like a statue. It is fun. I like to hit the Diet Coke because it my favorite soda. I am kneeling because the cans are low. I like the BB gun very good. CA Girl in 10-OC. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

CA Girl in 10-OC. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. And here we go. Into another New Year! Feeling of a new adventure has never left me, so I'm still excited about both my birthday and the new year. This year is the year to cut the clutter. Stop laughing. I mean it. No I mean stop laughing. I have a whole year. By the end of that year my desk may be cleaner. Stop laughing at me! I cut my hair:. CA Girl in 10-OC. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Location, location, location. The porch on the outside of our garage and potting shed is nice. I could paint the whole area white so I'd have nice bright white bouncing all around. Trouble here is that there is a big shrub right in front of the place! Same spot, just from a different angle. Trouble again is that I'd have to keep the potting shed picked up. Not happening any time soon I'm afraid. Out on the lawn is nice, but the shade is sporadic and inconsistant.

CA Girl in 10-OC. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Slow in editing the pictures from November. I usually love editing, but for this shoot the light was just a little tricky and many of my photographs did not come out as sharp as I like, which is frustrating for me. But here are a few that I liked for one reason or the other. Understands my frustration with black and white digital photography. I try, but I'm never really pleased so much with the results. CA Girl in 10-OC. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Don't Fence Me In. To ride to the ridge where the west commences. And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses. And I can't look at hovels and I can't stand fences. Don't fence me in. Then the other day, Amanda and I went horseback riding. I rode a Tennessee Walking horse for the first time. Oh what a beautiful gaited trot! Ride until the west commences. CA Girl in 10-OC. Links to this post. Monday, August 25, 2008. Friend Juli from Three Minutes and a Rainbow.

CA Girl in 10-OC. Sunday, December 06, 2009. Leipers Fork Christmas Parade.2009 Edition. Thought I'd dust off the cobwebs around here and update my blog! No better time than now, just in time to present the Leiper's Fork 2009 Christmas parade. Down home style. Waiting for the parade to start! Derick was actually in the parade this year, so he's not waiting with us. High temp on this day was 34 degrees! Naomi Judd did the announcing. I loved this sweet entry! CA Girl in 10-OC. Thursday, May 21, 2009. Arachnophobes Need Not Apply. So heading out to the garage. This morning, Austin brings to my attention this spider, which happened to be blocking the door we needed to get through in order to get into the garage. The spider was was pretty big and I thought maybe it was a small tarantula. We had tarantulas running around our property in So. CA, but even then I hadn't seen any except in October and November and they were much bigger. CA Girl in 10-OC.

CA Girl in 10-OC. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Jonathan's Terrible, No Good 7th Birthday. And here's how it went down:. He was so excited about his birthday that he picked out that shirt the day before to wear to the cake and present celebration. That's a very fine cupcake tree if I say so myself. As a matter of fact Jonathan, I put those pink candles on right there. See them? Did you just say PINK candles? I am just so clever and so cute and so princessy! CA Girl in 10-OC. Monday, December 21, 2009. When Derick turned 14. A couple of days ago, it was like many other birthdays that we celebrate here at home. With a home made birthday cake, made to their order, plenty of candles and singing. Then the presents arrive and everyone is giddy with anticipation. It's some sort of accessory for their PSP hand held game. And a geek T-shirt that lights up whenever it detects WiFi. Timothy can't believe it. How NOT FAIR IS THAT? Happy birthday Rock Star!

Monday, July 07, 2014. The Bible many times likens the life of a Christian to a runner in a race. Paul said it this way…. 8220;Remember that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize. You also must run in such a way that you will win.”. 1 Corinthians 9.24, NLT). There are many lessons learned from a runner that easily applies to our Christian walk. Here Paul gives a simple but important reminder that we must “Remember this is a RACE! There is a difference. I now have some time on my hands.

I now have some time on my hands. Thursday, 30 January 2014. So, here we are, at 18 days later. I must admit, when I first left my job, the first feeling was euphoria. "That impossible collection of spreadsheets that I was looking at trying to finish this week." Gone. "That person I don't really like talking to." Gone as well. Just like that. Yes, I must admit, for a few hours, it felt great. On a whim, I asked for one in a bookstore, today. "Try again later in the fall," was the answer.
