The title for this body of work alludes to the proposal that beyond the graphic elements on the surface of these sculptures there is an implied narrative that expands their meaning. There is also a slightly tongue in cheek reference to the idea that my own practice continues behind the ‘front lines’ of what is considered the mainstream of contemporary art.
