My aims for this course – revisited! February 27, 2009 at 2:35 am. Working with podcasts looks fascinating but I did have a slight sensation of panic as the whole notion of it was introduced. That brings to my main reason for doing this course – becoming more comfortable with technology and acquiring the confidence to experiment with it. Having said that we are introducing students to the notion of a blog and I have noticed that the students produce better quality reflections than they used to. I also like the way they can all see each others ideas and my feedback. But I feel guilty that I am doing something I shouldn’t be! That leads me to ask the question, for what reason was the blog conceived? Surely if it was to form learning communities then our ToK system is acceptable? February 26, 2009 at 2:13 am. Believe it or not, this wasn’t because I had been preparing over and over again (well not for this actual presentation). It was because I know the topic inside out. I believe that I could repeat the performance and my timing would be just as good. Despite this, I found the format of the presentation and the ‘rules’ quite refreshing.
