Wednesday, June 8, 2011. We had our SS class, and 4 other "Young Adult" classes from our church, over Sunday afternoon for a "Welcome Summer" party. We rented a huge water slide (for the kids AND adults), set up a "kiddie pool" area for the younger kids, and made our own (enormous) slip n slide! 20' x 100' heavy duty painters tarp, 15 bottles of baby oil, 25 bottles of baby shampoo and 300 feet of water hose.and VIOLA! It was so much fun, even Jeb couldn't resist! Needless to say, everyone had a blast!

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. I can't believe we've already started ANOTHER year of school! The summer gets shorter every year! Emma started the 4th grade this year and Ella is in the 3 year old class at MMO. I can't believe we have a 4th grader! They were both super excited about starting back to school and seem to really like their classes! Let's hope it stays that way! Our Summer in a Nutshell. It's time to play catch up, yet again! Monday, April 4, 2011. Here I go again, trying to play "catch-up" on the blog! I keep telling myself I need to update it but unfortunatley the blog falls to the end of the list behind soccer practice, gymnastics, Dr. appointments, a husband and 3 kids! Hopefully I'll get better at balancing everything, including the blog, so I no longer have to cram two months worth of stuff into one post.we'll see! Everyone that he worked with knew about it but he had absolutely no clue. The pictures are priceless!

Thursday, October 28, 2010. Ella turned 3 last Friday! We celebrated by taking her to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live on Wednesday, having her big birthday bash on Saturday, and finishing it off with birthday cookies and juice at school on Monday! She had so much fun playing, eating and celebrating with all of her friends and family! Thanks to everyone who made the trip for making it such a special day for her! She seems to become the guinea. Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Destin - Day 3. Our last full day in Destin, we spent at Big Kahuna water park. We didn't take any pictures there. But afterwards we walked down to Pompano Joe's for some GREAT seafood! And a beautiful wait.). The Gwen and Edna Jones Foundation was established in 1974 by sisters, Gwen and Edna Jones. The Misses Jones, as they were widely known, owned The Union Station. At over 5000 acres, The Union Station was one of the largest agricultural properties in the Western District of Victoria. Both ladies lived long and full lives, with Edna passing away in 1995 at age 85 and Gwen in 2000 at age 91. The Union Station, together with the livestock, plant and equipment, was sold at auction on November 23, 2001.
