Coming Soon… | Bonjour Montreal!
https://jonjenmontreal.wordpress.com/2010/11/15/coming-soon
Monday, November 15, 2010 · 4:30 pm. Hello everyone. (Everyone meaning, the two or three people that run across this blog…plus our beloved family). As Jen and I start making plans toward our ultimate goals, we’re taking an initial step with a new form of online expression for us. Starting hopefully sometime soon, maybe, we hope…perhaps in the not too distant future, we will be launching a new blog! But how many know about the wonderful Haitian comfort food available at Ange and Ricky in Villeray? And her...

Between not getting calls returned and other complications, we think he will be able to start soon. Thank heavens! Quebec flag, Canada flag, Montreal flag. And, last but not least, it is Canada Day again (tomorrow), and then the 4th of July a few days later. Funny how that works, isn’t it? Our home and native land! The True North strong and free!

http://curbsidecottagechic.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Taking finds from curbside to chic & rediscovering their hidden potential. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Since it's been so snowy outside I thought it would be a great time to share these gorgeous postcards that I stumbled upon at an estate sale. The gentleman who mailed these was stationed in Belgium in 1944 and these were souvenirs that he sent back to his daughter and wife. The illustrations are gorgeous but the sweet commentary on the backs were truly what did it for me! Our house on the hill? Shabby...

Taking finds from curbside to chic & rediscovering their hidden potential. Friday, June 5, 2009. You also want to have a large pump style bottle of hand-sanitizer. Believe me there will be times when you don't want to have to mess with the cap. This is always handy to have anyways. A roll of paper towels is great too. If there is a lot of dirt/dust/? Bungee cords, ropes etc. Just in case your trunk or tailgate can't contain your treasures. A box or bags to put your smaller treasures. The one (two, actual...

Taking finds from curbside to chic & rediscovering their hidden potential. Thursday, January 14, 2010. Curbside Coup: Sweet Poem. Sometimes the best treasures are ones that you come across unexpectedly. This is a cute poem I found in a 1907 Aldine Second Reader which had been cut out by a Clifford, years old 8, from a newspaper or magazine:. When the weather is wet. We must not fret;. When the weather is cold. We must not scold;. When the weather is warm. We must not storm;. But Be thankful together.

Friday, February 15, 2013. So what's he doing these days? He didn't start really crawling until he was almost a year old! Between illness and travel, he was held much of December. I think it was Christmas day at my parents' house that he took his first little lurches forward. Up until then, he was completely content to just sit up to play or be held. Now, he's "on the move", as we say. When he's getting into something, the kids will call out "baby explorer! Avocado is one of his favorite foods. He loves ...
