San Juan Mountains Winter 2015 - Colorado. January 30 - February 1, 2015. A quick trip to my favorite part of Colorado yielded several surprises. My friend and I hadn't been out shooting in a while and really wanted some Colorado winter shots. After watching the forecast for quite some time, we were looking for a weekend that yield fresh snow for a quick getaway. Well, we got it. For two days we were socked in finding several closed roads. But, in the end, this is what I came away with.

Fall Colors 2012 - Colorado. September 28 - October 1, 2012. I took a drive not knowing if I'd be car camping or backpacking or where exactly I'd go. There were a few places I wanted to visit so I ensured those were on the list. Places included Ohio Pass, Kebler Pass, Owl Creek Pass, and Last Dollar Road. The tree branches lead to the sun as if it's the star of the forest. As the morning sun shines through, a new fir is lit. Often times we forget to look to the forest floor to see beauty.

I use nothing but digital technology to capture and develop my work as the lightweight equipment allow me to adapt quickly to the scene and create the art I wish to share. My field arsenal includes a Canon 5DII, a few lenses and filters, and a carbon fiber tripod; I'm primarily using Adobe Lightroom and Nik Silver Efex in the darkroom.
