Wie so oft durfte ich heute erleben, dass einem erst bewusst wird, wie wichtig etwas ist, wenn man es nicht mehr hat. Als ich heute morgen aufwachte, gab es kein Wasser. Wie ich dann von meiner Gastmama erfahren habe, hatten sie in der gesamten Stadt (! Also haben sie kurzerhand das Wasser abgestellt, um die Rohre zu reinigen. Als dann gerade gegen Mittag wieder etwas Wasser kam, habe ich mit Sarah.

Meine normale Sitzposition.manchmal ist noch weniger Platz! Die Hupe befindet sich am Schaltknüppel - IMMER bedienbereit. Es gibt keine Tachonadel oder eine, die IMMER auf 40 km/h steht.ob der Combi fährt oder steht. Bleibt man beim Aussteigen mit dem Bein hängen, fällt schon mal der Sitz auseinander. Der Fahrer...

Letzten Freitag hatten wir eine Weihnachtsfeier in der Sprachschule und ich war auch eingeladen! Weihnachtsdekoration in der Sprachschule. Die Lehrer haben für das Mittagessen (typisch arequipenisch, Hühnchen mit verschiedensten Salaten) gesorgt und wir Schüler sollten einen typischen Nachtisch aus unserem Heimatland mitbringen. Alle haben kräftig mitgesungen. Aber was ist mit Ihnen?

Steffi steht Kopf - in Peru. Prima Klima rund um Lima. Sonntag, 27. Februar 2011. Ein Besuch auf dem Markt. Bibelstudy - Linda, Hanna, Jule, Sarah, ich (v.l.n.r.). Danach war ich dann mit Sarah und Hanna in dem größten Markt Arequipas - dem San Camilo. Sarah hatte ihr Spiegelreflexkamera dabei, so dass ich nun endlich richtig viele, spannende und gute Fotos habe :). Da möchte ich euch natürlich dran teilhaben lassen :). Viel Spaß mit den Fotos. Steffi steht Kopf - in Peru. Prima Klima rund um Lima. Samstag, 23. Oktober 2010. Andere Länder andere Sitten. Am letzten Mittwoch ist Jordi 7 Jahr alt geworden und ich war zu ihrer Party eingeladen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Nachmittag, ich konnte das Haus kennenlernen, in dem Cordts im Moment noch übergangsweise wohnen und ihre engsten Freunde hier in Peru. Ich wurde sofort sehr herzlich in die Runde aufgenommen und konnte auch ein wenig an der Konversation teilhaben :). Jordi und ihre Torte :).

My sterotype of Africa before I came was that it’s basically the Sahara desert, savannah grasslands and heat continent wide, despite knowing from geography lessons past that there’s rainforest (green) too. Well I was wrong. There are places where it’s cold and Kijabe is one of them, I also presume that the top of Kilimanjaro is pretty cold too as there’s white stuff. Masanga means someone who brings people together (meaning given from the guy who gave me the name).
