Sunday, August 23. Well, we're back! What a fun couple of days. We had a wonderful visit with my Granny June and Papa Leslie. Good visit but a little sad. My Granny June has dementia. So she has a hard time with her short-term memory, and this summer has been the first time her condition has been so obvious. My Papa does a great job helping her and looking out for her, though. They're very sweet with each other, and they were so happy that we were there. Me with Granny June. AbiLyn, the living doll.

Tuesday, December 29. I know I referenced an idea I had for gift wrapping. Well, here is a picture of how it turned out. It's grosgrain ribbon (which I adore) and a red jingle bell. I did some with red 1-inch grosgrain ribbon, too. Here is my Christmas Day dinner plate: honey glazed ham; one of my mom's wheat yeast rolls; the two dishes I made: warm pineapple salad. Monday, June 21. Living in the Dark Ages. We basically have no computer at home. There's lots of summer activities and things that I would normally be blogging about going on, but any blogging I do has to be done at work or on my iPod touch. That's a pain, and I can't upload pictures. We're about to be out of town on an awesome road trip, and when we get back we're going to tackle the computer issue.
