Its an integral part of being human, of being accepted and being respected. we were born with a strong desire to love and be loved. who doesnt want to be loved. who doesnt want to feel accepted like all the popular kids at school are. why cant everyone be friends. The reality is that all my strength has been depleted. I used so much strength trying to act “okay” when in reality I was scared all along. Scared that you would turn out to be everything I was afraid of. I didn’t know you long, but I chose to get close to you anyway. I chose to read the words you sent me and take them to heart. I listened to you when you spoke. I listened when you told me the things that hurt you most and wanted nothing more than to make those things disappear. Believe all your lies.
