What is in Your Hand? April 13, 2015. Bull; 2 Comments. Several months ago on John Michael Morgan’s blog. He proposed the question Is your Excuse worth your success? Praying for Your Calling. April 20, 2015. Bull; 2 Comments. It seems to be a deep part of us to live a life of meaning, a life of purpose. At times our calling seems to be an elusive treasure that requires great effort to discover. I know for much of my life I searched and hunted for it myself. It was a constant prayer that I would hear God’s will and have the strength and wisdom to persevere when I could not see clearly. Let me close with a prayer that all the Firemen read together:. Photos are my own.

The night before, I watched the confrontation between police and protesters escalate to violence and destruction. My city’s brokenness was palpable. I felt powerless. Ldquo;Yes, the pain of the racial divide is real, but this issue is much bigger than me.”. And listened a lot more. So what can I do? Weep with those who weep. Listen more than speak.
