Sunday, July 21, 2013. We have taken many opportunities to go to the zoo. Our kids are a great age for the zoo, and the National Zoo is free and a great way to spend our free time. Thursday, November 28, 2013. Halloween and kid pics. We managed to get the kids out for the trunk or treat. The Primary was in charge of providing treats, so we had to be there anyway.not that we would have missed it. Peter had a lot of fun. Elly was a little bit sleepy, as it was past her bedtime. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. So, after months of consideration, Chris and I decided to spend some of our savings on a new furniture set. This is from Costco, and we LOVE it! It is so comfortable, and is really good quality. I've already taken a super comfortable nap on the couch. Friday, May 13, 2011. 9 months take two. Unfortunately, my first blog post on Peter reaching 9 months was mysteriously deleted, as if it never existed. So, I'll try it again. Thursday, November 28, 2013. Well, after months of searching, we finally found our piano. We got it used from a dealer who gave us a good deal with free delivery and 5 year warranty, and free tuning. It is a Yamaha console, and sounds pretty good for a piano of its size. It is such a joy to have a piano in the home, and makes such a difference! My kids seem to love it too. I hope it means we can have even more music in the house. I love a home with lots of music in the house! Peter LOVED these slides.

Scott, Heather, and Millie. I am thankful for. There are so many things in my life to be thankful for and I figure since Thanksgiving is a couple days away, it's a good time to name just a few of the many, many things I am so thankful for! In no particular order). I can not imagine my life without him. He is the greatest husband anyone could ask for and has been there with me through everything, lots and lots of great and fun things and some hard times too, the past couple of years.
