These past couple weeks were fun! First it was Father's Day. I made breakfast for Jeff and made him a homemade "Pinterest" gift that turned out exactly as I wanted it to. We were able to take Laynie to the park and enjoy some sunshine! Then in the evening we went to dinner at Jeff's parents. We were able to go to Calgary for my friend's mom's wedding this past weekend. It was a cozy backyard wedding and Michele (The Bride) looked gorgeous! It was fun to be able to catch up with them! Fight like a GIRL.

So I figured before the baby was here I wanted to make a blanket but because we don't know the gender I didn't want to go through all the work and make a big, heavier blanket. So until the baby is born I made some receiving blankets and then once it's here i'll try to find the time to make an actual blanket that fits the gender more! So here is what I have been doing for the past two days. 32 weeks 5 days, close enough to 33. right :). This one shows the actual size of my belly, the next one is just fun!

These past couple weeks I have been browsing DIY blogs like crazy! I found some super cute stuff I've made/going to make. So finally here is a picture of my baby bump! I am 16weeks 2 days here. The bump feels like it is getting bigger every day. I get out of bed and put on my clothes and I can just tell it is changing and it makes me so happy! What I really just pray for though is the baby will come out with all it's limbs attached and be healthy. That is all we can ask for! I think their here to stay! I wasn't exactly sure what braxton hicks were until recently and realized i've been having them for the last week and a half. It's kind of a weird feeling but kind of cool at the same time. I'm not to sure what I think of them when I have to pee because it just squashes the bladder even more! Not fun, but it comes with pregnancy unfortunately and we have no choice! So I opened it up and saw it was the truck and on a day I worked, so assumed it was Jeff. Wrong! Do I look guilty?

Birthday parties of course! On thursday was my mom's birthday! We went to my parents house to celebrate with family and friends. Jeff only came for a little bit because he is super sick, now we know it's strep :( He has the worst luck with getting sick and a very low immune system! Not A Baby Anymore. This little girl is 2! It just happens and you can't stop it. So those who aren't parents yet. don't judge us from how our kids act. Ha we have no control. My advice is to not give in! If you have rules or say no to candy before dinner, stick to your guns! Or else you will be wrapped around their little fingers. For the next 18 years! Laynie is such a blessing! Even with all that attitude, she is still a sweet little angel and I wouldn't change anything! Love you baby girl!
