Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Please, please, PLEASE Utah let us have a decent fall this year. One lasting longer than the length of a sneeze would be ideal. Cross your fingers for me. Friday, September 3, 2010. April and I decided we were going to go on a spontaneous trip on this holiday weekend to Seattle. We looked up hotels and attractions. then Thursday we realized, Seattle is not a very good last minute vaction spot for a holiday weekend (read:. Seattle suddenly looks a lot like Vegas.

My Nutshell: Potted
http://juliesnutshell.blogspot.com/2013/01/potted.html
Friday, January 25, 2013. Photo taken in a poppy field in the ever so lovely Val D’Orcia, Tuscany last May. One of my constant struggles is learning to love the pot I’m currently planted it. I know next to nothing about gardening, but I do know, that as a flower or plant grows, you move it into a bigger pot or space and continue to do this as it continues to grow. I often feel that I am an over-flowing bush crammed into a many-sizes-too-small pot. Bloom baby, bloom. January 27, 2013 at 5:15 PM. I am a Nu...

My Nutshell: Wedded Bliss
http://juliesnutshell.blogspot.com/2012/09/wedded-bliss.html
Monday, September 24, 2012. I realized that I haven’t blogged (or recorded in any way, really) a couple weddings I went to this summer. One being my little sister’s and the other was one of my best friends. Shame on me. In July Caitlin married a boy she met in her ward last autumn and had a lovely wedding and reception down in Manti where Neil (her husband. It was so good to be around family for awhile. And to visit Kentucky again. I absolutely love that place. While in Auburn I had some time to myself t...

http://juliesnutshell.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Bradford came to my work today for a brief moment. Brought me these:. He completely ruined my day. I mean, I was all armed and ready to hate the world today. I even had the perfect glower set. Then he had to traipse in here, all gallant like, and ruin it all. How can I be mad now with these things staring at me? Thanks Mr. Bradford. Thursday, August 12, 2010. Yes world, I am still alive. Thanks for asking.). The answer my friends would be yes. Yes she has been. For my kitchen,...

My Nutshell: October 2010
http://juliesnutshell.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Sunday night I got a phone call from a good friend. A friend I've known for almost a decade. Despite our distance in logistics, and the fact that we only talk about every other month (at best) for an hour or two at a time, I consider him one of my absolute best friends. I'm so lucky to have them, though few, in my life. They are the ones I can be just as confidant as ever around even if its been years since we last saw each other. It is amazing to love and be loved completely.

My Nutshell: October 2012
http://juliesnutshell.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 22, 2012. Bradford and I have have a few unofficial traditions for this time of year. I love Halloween so. I look forward to doing as much Halloweeny stuff as we can manage during the month. We usually roast the pumpkin seeds too, and this time I think they were the best we’ve ever made. I couldn’t stop eating them. In years past I’ve been underwhelmed by them but I really enjoyed them this time. Yum. My favorite part is setting them on the porch and lighting them.
