Madison - Science 8: Energy Sources
http://madisonb00015.blogspot.com/2010/04/energy-sources.html
Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Should our cars be required to get better gasoline mileage? In a way, I agree with yes and no but I am going to go with yes! I was reading on www.naturalgas.org that it is unknown when natural gas will no longer exist, but if the gas prices keep going up and there are being more and more gas guzzling cars out their, that it won't be maybe 100 years that we will begin to notice a very very little amount of natural gas left! Tristan - Science 8. Thursday, April 22, 2010. April 28, 2010 at 1:39 PM. Great job Tristan. You had very convincing points and good facts. I agree with using solar power! April 29, 2010 at 2:53 PM. Tristan, very good job on your blog:) I also used solar power:). You had some good points and the disadvantages that the energy had, you had some great ways to work around them. Great job:D. Tristan - Science 8: March 2010
http://tristanq.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tristan - Science 8. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. One of the main things that I have learned in science class is about the different forces on our Earth. There are many different frictions such as rolling friction. Also, a main topic was inertia. Have you ever wondered why a skateboard stops but your body keeps moving? That is due to an effect called inertia. Leading into these forces is Newton's Law of Motion. I have learned very much this year(:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Madison - Science 8.

Finally, I would have a geothermal well drilled outside of my house. This would provide hot water and steam that can easily and cheaply make electricity. It also provides hot water that can be filtered and used for bathing and many other things. These are the things that my ideal house would have. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Madison - Science 8. Danielle - Science8: Geothermal Energy
http://daniellew50.blogspot.com/2010/04/geothermal-energy.html
Monday, April 19, 2010. If I could choose a source of energy for my house I would choose geothermal energy for heating. Geothermal energy is heat captured under the Earth's crust to create a power source. Not only is it renewable, but it is also cheap, uses less electricity than regular heating systems, and it doesn't pollute the air or cause any damage to the environment! April 27, 2010 at 2:45 PM. I like that you put in this blog that this energy source is cheap because price would be very important!
