http://gorgeouskidsgifts.blogspot.com/2011/01/hand-crocheted-baby-rattle.html
A place to showcase the most beautiful children's gifts in Australia. My own kids gifts. Friday, January 21, 2011. Hand crocheted baby rattle. This little character caught my eye immediately! I love the soft look of these sweet crocheted rattles and, of course, they look super safe to me, with no buttons or hard pieces that might detach. The colours used are soft and warm. The maker is Kia Hing Fay. Who lives in Queensland. She is part Scandinavian, part Chinese and part Scottish! I love gorgeous things!

Gorgeous Kids' Gifts: Spinning Tops
http://gorgeouskidsgifts.blogspot.com/2010/10/spinning-tops.html
A place to showcase the most beautiful children's gifts in Australia. My own kids gifts. Wednesday, October 27, 2010. You might have noticed my penchant for toys of yesteryear! This beautiful spinning top is a reproduction of a famous Bolz German top from 1880, rediscovered in 1948. The modern addition of a plastic foot makes it slightly easier for kids to use. Bolz tops are renowned and you'll remember them from your own childhood (see this video of a Bolz top. For a 30 second trip down memory lane).

Gorgeous Kids' Gifts: Felt ball rugs
http://gorgeouskidsgifts.blogspot.com/2010/10/felt-ball-rugs.html
A place to showcase the most beautiful children's gifts in Australia. My own kids gifts. Friday, October 1, 2010. I really like these felt ball throw rugs for little ones' rooms. In fact, there is something distinctly edible about them. These are made by Happy as Larry. I'm not sure if the Perth woman who runs this store makes the rugs after importing the felt balls or imports the rugs complete. You can order these online at her website and I've also seen her at the Handmade Children's Markets.

I can't believe the intricacy and tiny-ness of these ballet slipper hair clips made from grosgrain ribbon, in pale pink, bright pink or red. I believe she does custom colour requests too. Makes them.
