Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Posted by Kaitlyn Chandler. Thursday, April 12, 2012. Forgot to post this:. Posted by Kaitlyn Chandler. Sunday, April 8, 2012. Rehema Barber: Artist Lecture. She first went over a piece by Kenji Yanobe, called "Sun Child" This one really caught my eye out of a lot of the art she showed:. Another thing that caught my eye was a permanent work at the 21st century museum in Kanazawa:. The architecture of the muesum itself is a work of art- it's basically all windows except for the ...

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Visiting Artist Lecture Chris Irick. This was a good lecture. Looking at it this way, she went from this:. Posted by Kaitlyn Chandler. Thursday, February 23, 2012. Installation Concept and Execution. WHAT IS BEING SEEN:. What really interested me about the space was the idea of using lines to flow around the space organically. What interested me a lot about the second tutorial class was the sound level affecting the effects and how I could use all those different values ...

ExP. Cinema: January 2012
http://expcinemakaitlyn.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Work and Play: Frame by Frame. So, this project progressed kind of weird, I think I have a good bit of quantitative stuff. This project is going in a traditional/digital quirky collage-y feel. In conclusion, I want to create a visual experience that focuses on a combination of drawing and frame-by-frame. To do this I will use a combination of mixed media and film. Act I finished by next Tuesday. Act II finished by next next Tuesday. Act III finished by the following Thursday.

ExP. Cinema: Concepts
http://expcinemakaitlyn.blogspot.com/2012/03/concepts.html
Tuesday, March 20, 2012. My concept so far is that I know I want to be mobile, but if possible I want to create a project that could be stationery as well and still be awesome. Here are some things that have inspired me over the break for my ideas:. This has probably been influenced by all the science-fiction novels I've been reading over the break probably. Put the audience/user into an alien enviroment using the kinect. Posted by Kaitlyn Chandler. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

ExP. Cinema: Rehema Barber: Artist Lecture
http://expcinemakaitlyn.blogspot.com/2012/04/rehema-barber-artist-lecture.html
Sunday, April 8, 2012. Rehema Barber: Artist Lecture. This was a pretty interesting lecture, and I'm glad I went. Rehema Barber (I may have spelled her name wrong) is faculty at MCA teaching art history. This lecture was about a grant/program she was given to go and experience Japanese contemporary art. It was on the whole a little bit long but also not rigid and stoic like many lectures are. Another thing that caught my eye was a permanent work at the 21st century museum in Kanazawa:. It's really surrea...

Experimental Cinema: January 2012
http://willoughbyexperiment.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. I also had issues with the camera not focusing for a long time. I had to restart the program a few times to get the camera back to normal. This was a very frustrating ordeal I think I may want to stick to using my own equipment for this project. I know the clips in the video seem really random. This is just a compilation of the few clips that I got to export. I'm really disappointed that I didn't get more to show. But at least now I know what not to do. Rounding out my Idea.
