Nano's conquering the world: October 2014
http://nanocarpediem.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Nano's conquering the world. The Brazilian guy who took the road less travelled by. Tuesday, 14 October 2014. New chapter in life: Sweden. After two weeks already living in Lund, Sweden. And this time I think there's no return), I finally found some time to sit down and speak out why that happened, because people are still asking me: Nano, WHY? My situation in Poland deteriorated and I felt a bit lost and without perspectives (Not entering in details here). Better public social benefits. I now feel like ...

Nano's conquering the world. The Brazilian guy who took the road less travelled by. Tuesday, 23 June 2015. Wherever I may roam. This is what I have to say after visiting my home town after. Nearly 8 years living abroad and after I traveled more than 30 countries. It's not a direct attack to Salvador, nor Brazil. It could be any city or town which is no longer good to live according to one's view. This post portraits Brazil negatively though. And the expenditure was twice as much as foreseen for some of t...

Nano's conquering the world: January 2014

Nano's conquering the world. The Brazilian guy who took the road less travelled by. Wednesday, 15 January 2014. Portugal and a bit of Spain. A country like Portugal may be very pleasant for relaxation and gastronomical purposes! Just pick a nice restaurant combined with a nice view to the Atlantic ocean and you'll get a nice bliss. I myself like the codfish prepared in different ways, octopus stew and pastel de Belem. Which is some sort of cream pie. Google for it. :). Porto is a very beautiful city with...

Nano's conquering the world: Fighting the darkness
http://nanocarpediem.blogspot.com/2014/11/fighting-darkness.html
Nano's conquering the world. The Brazilian guy who took the road less travelled by. Friday, 28 November 2014. My first post about my emigration to Sweden was after two weeks of my arrival. Now, I'm a writing a second post having now stayed 2 months here in total. Some Polish friends have asked me already how it's like to live in Sweden and if I wouldn't like to come back to Poland instead. The salaries here are much higher than in eastern European countries, especially if working as an IT freelancer....

http://nanocarpediem.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Nano's conquering the world. The Brazilian guy who took the road less travelled by. Sunday, 29 March 2015. Nano's 100000 years birthday (32 in decimal base). The birthday itself is basically a context creator for people to gather. I always prefer to say that we are all celebrating life together and there is nothing better than one day after the other. :). It also marks exactly my first 6 months in Sweden and counting. Labels: sweden fun misc. Saturday, 21 March 2015. Steel Panther in Copenhagen. They inv...

Nano's conquering the world: Slipknot Experience
http://nanocarpediem.blogspot.com/2015/02/slipknot-experience.html
Nano's conquering the world. The Brazilian guy who took the road less travelled by. Thursday, 12 February 2015. Slipknot was one of the missing pieces in my puzzle of giant metal bands' concerts to attend. In my list there is already: Metallica, Sepultura, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Megadeth and now Slipknot. Many more still to come. I could count on a nice group of international friends who attended the concert with me: one American, one Polish, one more Brazilian and one Swedish! Here it is, enjoy:. I have d...

Nano's conquering the world. The Brazilian guy who took the road less travelled by. Thursday, 3 April 2014. Soilwork with Nightwish's Floor Jansen after DVD live recording. Soilwork has been being part of my life lately, a high-quality death metal band whose lyrics are changing my way to see and interpret the challenges that come upon! Bjorn's lyrics carry very motivational messages in it and, if well interpreted, may change ones life. I picked few lines from some of the lyrics:. Now that the search goes...

Nano's conquering the world. The Brazilian guy who took the road less travelled by. Monday, 30 June 2014. Discovering Switzerland (and Liechtenstein! Switzerland in my imagination was always like 'Neverland' (from Peter Pan's tale) meaning: a wonderful place where people would dream about going there and (why not? Living there, forever! During all these years I've been living here in Europe (it already counts 7 years! HEAVY METAL CDS (Including Rammstein, Motorhead, Soilwork.). This photo of the valley a...
