However, I just couldn't let this day pass without sending up a big Happy Birthday to our Eva. You would be so proud of your Papa and how much he's learning and how hard he's working and how much he loves what he's doing! You'd be excited about having a new baby cousin Arialise and how happy grandma and grandpa are!

Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Its funny how a smell, a picture, a comment can be a strong trigger for an emotion or a memory. Some times its good to have those triggers, I love Norteño music, it takes me back to the memories (good ones) of my childhood, of our family parties, of my father's love of his native land, of my mother and sister's cooking. Monday, September 24, 2012. The changes on the horizon! There are so many changes to come and so many changes that have occurred. It seems that the ole saying, "the only constant is change" is again being proven in my home. 10 days ago marked Eva being gone 3 months, this weekend I turned 35 weeks pregnant and 5 weeks closer to bringing a new baby home. With Jose starting Medical School almost 6 weeks ago this adds another dimension of change. The schedule change! So why do we do it? Why torture ourselve...

Monday, November 4, 2013. Dia de los Muertos. November 1st and November 2nd we spent all day at Thanksgiving Point. It was our very first event! This was Thanksgiving Points first year hosting a celebration for Dia de los Muertos. There was beautiful folkoric dances from many parts of latin america, lots of venders and crafts for kids too! If you don't know what it is, click here. She was the only one selling Mexican food. We sold in less then 2 hours on both days. I think that was pretty neat.

We heard about this family that has put on a train ride/ meet Santa thing for years for free but since it has grown, you have to make reservations and if picked, you get a call. So last week we got a call saying we had been picked! The stars ( our schedules) aligned and we got to go on Monday. We first check in and wait in their garage where we can watch Polar Express on a giant screen. When its our turn we sit down outside and hear safety instructions. It was so very sweet.

Kent and I alternated working at our jobs. how that works out every single time is beyond me. All I know that it is the work of Heavenly Father. December 19, 2012. Since I own and manage an online jewelry shop. I really try to get my work done before. The kids are up and going for the day. most of the time I actually do, but there are times when I don't finish everything on time, or quite frankly, I'm too tired to wake up earlier than they do, (which is between 7-8 am. so, you can't blame me, right?
