Rockin' Cali Girls: 730 days = 2 years
http://rockincaligirls.blogspot.com/2014/09/730-days-2-years.html
730 days = 2 years. Two years old. 730 days. How did the past 2 years go by so fast? On a sunny Wednesday afternoon we were blessed to become parents to the cutest and sweetest set of twins we could have ever dreamed of having. You have grown from sweet little babies to fun loving toddlers. So quickly this time has passed. Emilie - You are sweet and spunkyy. You are loving. You are the one who likes to curl up in my lap and snuggle. You are the perfect "baby" of our family. Happy 2nd Birthday my twinsies.

Rockin' Cali Girls: Running - Disney Style
http://rockincaligirls.blogspot.com/2014/09/running-disney-style.html
Running - Disney Style. In January, with only a few races under my belt, and never running a distance more than a 10K. (And even that had just recently happened! I embarked on an 8 month journey towards my very first Half Marathon. It was a journey filled with races, training, injury, and yes.even a few tears. It was a journey full of encouragement from my amazing running group and reflection on those long solo runs. A journey that would test my patience, my endurance and my follow through. The day was h...

Halloween Treats {One Healthy, One Sweet}. I always love using a Holiday as an excuse to send a little treat to the school for the girls to share with their friends. This year was no different. A's teacher preferred a healthy treat, and D's teacher is very easy going so we choose a sweet treat. Both of these are very simple and since I totally procrastinated, I did them Halloween morning (as in this morning) to take to the classes later in the day. And got to work! Happy Birthday, Twinsies - Cake Smash!

Happy 7th Birthday, Aubrie! Today is your birthday. Another year has gone by and you have aged by 365 days. You are a whole 7 years old. When did that happen? When did you become so big. When did 7 become such a big number when it comes to age? 7 is teetering on the edge of thinking mom is the most awesome person ever, to thinking that mom is the most embarrassing person ever. Right now you think I am pretty awesome, and for that I am grateful. I Run For Me - My Running Story. So Far. This post isn't abo...

Teething and a Baby Vampire. Teething is always a blast. OK, not really. But the way Emilie (and Averie is now too) is downright hilarious. I mean, really. She's a straight up, baby vampire. Does it get any cuter than that? Cruising Alaska - Teaser. It'll be great to go back someday when the little ones are a bit older, kind of hard to go anywhere when you need 5 car seats. Art a la Carte - Free Fun. And you can't beat free! Haylie creating her very own bookmark. And some adorable face painting! Hazel - ...

Merry Christmas - from us and Santa! At the school (one of our schools) Santa's Breakfast we got a photo with Santa. It turned out pretty good. But do you see a problem? We didn't either. Then I realized we were missing kid #4, who had skirted off the side of the stage giggling. She sure thought it was pretty funny we had a great family photo with Santa without her. 3 year olds - they are trouble. But hey - the rest of look pretty good! Here's a share of my darling family. Happy Anniversary - 9 years! The Mr. and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary on 8/8. Time flies - it's hard to believe it's already been 9 years married and 13 together. With 6 kids it's not always easy to get some time just the two of us. But we were lucky enough to get TWO date nights, yes TWO, in one week. Here's our annual - married another year - photo. Snapped by the oldest gal. Happy 9 years to us! First Day of School {2013-2014 school year}. It's going to be a busy year and we are ready!

Why do YOU Run? I run almost every day. It makes me feel good. Keeps me healthy. Running lets me eat those treats that I just can't seem to resist. ;). But today is an even better running day. It's National Running Day! It sort of made it perfect to reflect on why I run. So why do I run? If anyone can make excuses it's me, but I don't. I lead by example. I practice what I preach. This is why I run. Labels: #motherrunner #fitmom #runlikeamother #momsthatrun. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Why do YOU Run?
