And the Journey Continues. Thursday, April 22, 2010. As most people know, April is a big month in the Dolezal family. Today is our 8th Anniversary! Matt and I have known each other since we were 17, and the years just keep getting better. After all, we have done some pretty great things together- -three of those things being this:. In the beginning of January, I went to ID/UT with the kids to go to my Grandma Vonda Harper's birthday party with my extended Harper family. It was SO great to see so many cousins and aunts/uncles, I haven't seen for years, and meet in-laws and babies for the first time. I wasn't expecting it to be very cold (what was I thinking? So I didn't pack winter clothes for the kids, but that didn't stop them from playing outside in the snow.

So, Dr. Savage said we could try a big boy bed out on Andy anytime we wanted. We went home, put a mattress on the floor, removed anything he could get into, flipped the dresser around (it isn't anchored yet) and put a gate in the doorway. Here is what happened. Night 1: I went in to check on him several times to make sure he was okay, found him on the floor several times. I moved him to the bed each time. Night 2: I checked on him several times again (that floor can't be comfy! Aww Andy is a big boy!
