Wie: José Quartel, (1951 en getrouwd met Gerard Passchier). Welkom op mijn reis- en fotoblog. Uiteindelijk in 2008 overgestapt naar een spiegelreflexcamera omdat deze meer te bieden heeft en een stuk sneller is. Omdat reizen ook mijn interesse heeft, heb ik afgelopen jaar besloten om mijn fototripjes en reisverslagen niet meer alleen voor mezelf te houden maar via dit blog te publiceren. Woensdag 28 januari 2015. Van huis uit ben ik niet gezegend met een paar volle wenkbrauwen, sterker nog, als ik er niets aan doe zie je ze niet eens. Dit was ongeveer 15 jaar geleden een goede reden om te denken aan permanente make-up. Nu zijn ze nog een beetje donker maar dat trekt nog bij, weet ik uit ervaring. Maandag 18 mei 2015. Arizona 11 - 17 mei 2015 (week 8). We gaan naar het zwembad. Er is plek genoeg want het is, op z'n zachtst gezegd, niet zo druk. Het water is wat aan de warme kant dus lekker afkoelen is er niet bij, dan maar denken. Dat het verfrissend is. We installeren ons hierna in de schaduw en beginnen aan ons boek. February 26, 2015. Diary Athens Feb 27-Mar 05, 2015. Started running at 07.00hr, easier to navigate the Streets of Athens. Route 1. Had a cup of tea at the Starbucks at Monastiraki. Cloudy today with some sunshine. It is supposed to rain, wel, maybe later. Bought sausages and bread on Athinai street on the way back to the hotel. Around 18.00 hour I took the subway from Omonia to the Akropolis stop. I don't have many nighttime photo's and videos. Walked through Plaka to Monastiraki. From there to Syntagma.

November 29, 2014. Nov 29, 2014: Smartphone. I use Skype to call people on Skype. I use Voipbuster to call a regular or cell phone, all over the world. Paying 10 euro's into my voipbuster account, gives me 120 days free landline calls. After that time period calls will use up my account balance, but it is cheaper than using Skype. Voipbuster works on all my computers, my Asus Transformer tablet, my old Kindle Fire tablet, but not. On my new Kindle Fire HDX. My phones so far were only capable to make calls.
