Left camp near 6:30 am, traveled slow for some reason and arrived within supporting distance of the infantry. Our company was sent out on picket on the Atlanta road. The men were armed with Spencer Rifles and were a part of what was called by the Rebels Wilder’s Lightening Brigade from their rapid movements and efficient work. Every year QuickChek hosts a huge hot air balloon festival here in New Jersey, called the Festival of Ballooning. The Friday before the event starts, the hot air balloons set up and do test flights. At 6:30am the fest is open to media. Photographers and other press like TV stations. To me the event is about hanging out with my friends and having a good time. There is action (setup, launch, breakdown).
