Just me jabbering about life and stuff. I cannot believe that my brother, Peter is married. The first of my brothers to tie the knot. I will not lie, it t’was very emotional, and I shed a tear or two. Anyhow, I was ‘chief bridesmaid’ (CBM) for Luciana, which was great because I had a more “hands on” roll in the wedding planning. Just me jabbering about life and stuff. Then don’t expect equal pay. That’s the message coming from the so-called Grand Old Party (GOP) right now. GOP Senators voted to block the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. The act could have been a step towards the end of the appalling practice of women being paid less than men, for doing the exact same job. As happens in workplaces throughout the US. Republicans want to reduce access to abortion care. And now there’s the equal pay thing. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
