Therefore anytime people are coming over or we are going to visit someone, you must call it a party AND you must wear a party dress! Saturday, January 30, 2010. Grace's 4th Birthday Party. For Grace's birthday this year, it was set up as a candy shop. Each "customer" was given 100 pennies in a bag to spend for the candy they wanted. Erin was just excited it was a party and there was candy. She wasn't at all concerned about "spending" her money! Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Erin has recently rediscovered the joys of chicken nuggets at Chick Fil Lake. Although I am a horrible speller, I have spelled the restaurant correctly according to Erin. It is one of my favorite things she says! Erin has also discovered the joy of trading in your kids meal prize for ice cream. I think this is the most parent friendly thing EVER! Thursday, December 31, 2009. Sometimes it becomes glaringly obvious that our life is completely different than it used to be. New Year's Eve and the fact that Erin goes with us to Chipee and Betsy's party is one of those times. Erin loves a party and has a blast. She doesn't even come close to making it to midnight though. We end up leaving by 11:00 so we can make it home before midnight. Luckily, Erin and I had been to Wal-Mart the previous day and found the perfect accessories. You know I love these!

Thursday, December 24, 2009. Tha annual Angel Bread creation. Every since I was a little girl, we have always made Angel Bread to have for Christmas morning breakfast. As Chipee and I got older, we added egg nog with Maker's Mark for a toast. With Erin, Christmas morning is a little more hectic so we don't always make the toast so now we have margarita's while making the bread. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Erin created a birds nest, got in and called me to take a picture. I was impressed that it looked like a birds nest with a mama Erin and her baby dolls. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Trick or Treating. in the rain. I know that you agree that this is the cutest flapper girl who has ever worn purple fringe! Gotta get your fringe shakin'. Perhaps we have a Dancing with the Stars future? Erin couldn't wait to trick or treat. She was ready to walk out of the house but mommy and daddy didn't even have shoes on! Gramma, Pops, Speedy and MawMaw stayed behind to pass out the candy so both Mommy and Daddy could go with Erin! Rain did not dampen Erin's spirits at all!

Monday, August 31, 2009. Giddy Up, Cowgirl! A Day in the Life of Erin. She put this emsemble together all by herself. The horse-y is from Chu's on Tybee Island while we were at the beach this summer. The boots were a fabulous "re-gift". I originally bought the pink cowboy boots as a gift for Amanda, who is now 15! I had forgotten about them until they came back as a gift to Erin. How perfect is that! Luckily, the picture gives the appearance that the skirt and tank "tock" match when they really don't!

At 3 years old, Erin LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Shane's Rib Shack! I believe that this crush started for obvious reasons, with the name Shane in it. Then it turned to infatuation with the realization of Sweet Tea and French Fries-my kinda girl! One evening after work, Shane met his girls for dinner there and you can see how happy the fam is!
