Birding Ecosse: The manic pace continues!
http://birdingecosse.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-manic-pace-continues.html
Wednesday, 15 May 2013. The manic pace continues! Sorry for lack of posts recently, it's not that I have nothing to report, the exact opposite in fact with not enough hours in the day! Met some brilliant people, seen some brilliant birds and been in some spectacular Scottish scenery. To keep you going a quick selection of pics taken over the last few weeks. Tawney Owl (looking stunning. not! Can you spot Owlet number 2? When on a tour that is). 16 May 2013 at 17:24. Love the owlets. Found #2.

Birding Ecosse: July 2013
http://birdingecosse.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 2 July 2013. I'm back - Alberta Part1. Well that's me back to Bonnie Scotland after a cracking three weeks in Alberta Canada, taking in the worst flooding in Alberta's history, being caught up in a real live Tornado warning and some scorching sunshine. Although not a birding holiday all the people we stayed with accepted our strange ways and all pulled out the stops to ensure we saw as many species possible, so a massive thanks to you, one and all! The Trip to Portland and South-west England: The First Day in the Portland and Dorset. The ideal of course would be to wake up to low lying dense fog, cloud or mist, but what did it mean at Portland if the skies were clear. Would all of the spring migrants there on the previous day still be there? Looking out from the other side of the brid...

The Trip to Portland and South-west England: A Day in the Poole Harbour Area (9/4). 9/4: 20 past 6 (a bit later than the previous day) and off it goes again, that horribly effective phone alarm! Mikees Happenings: Return of the Mike
http://mikeetubster.blogspot.com/2012/02/return-of-mike.html
A look into the life of a walker and amateur birder. Friday, 17 February 2012. Return of the Mike. It seems an age since I last reported on what Earth vibrating wonderments are happening in my world, and in fact it has been a while. Things that have changed since last I typed. Male Blackie, with almost bare larder (Amwell NR). 1, My flu left. 2, My Sinus unblocked. 3, My cough relented to what you would hear a polite lady do when trying to stop her husband saying something he shouldn't. 5, It got cold.
