Het leven gaat door. We kunnen niet naar West Afrika, maar we hebben een alternatief. We gaan naar Madagascar. Daar zijn we op dit moment op weg naar toe. August 13, 2015. Ik zal later nog iets meer over charity: water. Vertellen, maar check hun website om te zien wat een geweldig werk Scott en zijn team verzetten. June 23, 2015. Concert in het ‘Millenium Park’ in Chicago. Er is hier werkelijk niets. Dat is wat we keer op keer moesten horen voordat we hier heen kwamen. Nu valt dat opzicht wel mee. Het is gewoon allemaal even net iets verder weg. Stefan (onze IOC vriend) leent ons zijn JEEP en wij scheuren zo nu en dan naar Walmart, Cole’s, Tyler en de gebruikelijke fast food restaurants. Toch is er iets anders vandaag en dat is de reden dat ik erover schrijf. 8216;Het is meer een soort van maatschappelijk werk wat we doen.’ zegt Yfke. ‘We zijn gelimiteerd in onze mogelijkheden en ook al heet het palliatieve zorg, er is maar zoveel wat je hier kunt doen.’ Ondanks dat is de sfeer ontspannen. Wij zijn Ruben en Mirjam. 30 en 29 jaar. Tot zover hebben we een prachtig leven geleefd. We hebben elkaar ontmoet toen we 14 jaar waren en hebben sindsdien ons leven met elkaar gedeeld. Veel mooie dingen gedaan en geleerd. Ruben is IC verpleegkundige, maar vindt het naast zijn verpleegkundige carriere leuk om te fotograferen en met PR bezig te zijn en is hier aardig goed in. To create a model of the room/building/town you’re trying to draw… then take a screenshot and use it as a reference! It’s simple and fun! Sketchup is incredibly helpful. I can’t recommend it enough.
