The Lenhard Family: Broccoli Salad
http://lenhardfamily.blogspot.com/2010/10/broccoli-salad.html
Tuesday, October 5, 2010. A lot of broccoli salads consist of mayo, bacon, maybe raisins, etc. but this is a more savory and healthier twist on the salad. Although we really liked it it was pretty lemony even for us, but I think it’s because I didn’t add enough broccoli. This is from the Vegetarian Nation. Like the other recipes below. This is a great summer side dish! It's a zippy way to serve fresh broccoli. 1 tablespoon white vinegar. 1 1/2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice. Our Family Part I.

Sunday, September 26, 2010. Really Good and Easy Chicken Marinade! I use this one all the time because Adam loves anything with lemon. I’ve used it with boneless/skinless chicken breasts but we LOVE it with boneless/skinless chicken thighs (Costco has great chicken in case you weren’t aware). There’s just something about this marinade with dark meat that makes it so good! Lemon and Garlic Marinade for Grilled Chicken. Juice of 1 lemon, approximately 3 tablespoons. 3 tablespoons olive oil. 2 – Pla...

The Lenhard Family: May 2010
http://lenhardfamily.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Ham and Potato Soup. I got this excellent soup recipe that’s very easy from Tasty Kitchen. Which is connected to the Pioneer Woman. Cooking site which I love! 160; I also only used maybe 3-4 green onions (which filled up 1/2 a cutting board) b/c I worried about 1 1 /2 bunches being excessive (is that a typo or do you all think that would work okay? 160; Anyway, hope you like it! Ham and Potato Soup. Added by Cooking Ventures. On April 4, 2010 in Creamy Soups. 3-½ cups Water.

Sunday, October 17, 2010. This time of year is perfect for pumpkin recipes! I found this one on the Vegetarian Nation site (yes I’m a little obsessed with it now since I’ve had most of their recipes turn out great). I made a few adjustments to suit my taste and noted most of them below. The ingredients in () are what the original recipe says if you prefer using those ingredients . Enjoy! Our pumpkin patch is thriving again, and this is one of our favorite ways to enjoy it! 1/3 c butter (or 1/3 cup oil).
